The new HHV DUO 4 Axis is the latest innovation in horizontal machining centres from MODIG specifically designed for higher capacity machining of high volume automotive components.

With 4 axis and two spindles, 2 or 3 rotary tables the MODIG HHV Duo is suitable for Bar or Extrusion machining of complete parts in one setup.

1.5-1.7 x FASTER THROUGHPUT  

Over the last year the automotive industry has increasingly upgraded their existing machining capabilities to achieve a higher throughput. 

With the new HHV DUO the throughput is between 1.5-1.7 times faster than with a single spindle machining centre.

THE NEW HHV WITH TWO SPINDLES SPECIFICATION:

The HHV DUO is a 2 x 4-axis horizontal machining centre with two or three rotary tables with options for larger rotary tables for bigger and heavier extrusions.

With 30,000 rpm spindle speed in each spindle and 2,400”/min (60 m/min) feed rates in X/Y/Z/U.
